MECOSI is deeply committed to environmental conservation and community empowerment through its charity and social responsibility initiatives.

A key component of these efforts is the donation of free tree seedlings to institutions such as churches, schools, and community groups, particularly during the rainy seasons and National
Tree Planting Days. A notable example is MECOSI’s donation of over 10,000 tree seedlings during the National Tree Growing Day on
November 13, 2023, at Kiu Wetland, Makueni County, and across all 47 counties. This aligns with Kenya’s ambitious goal of planting 15 billion trees by 2032 to combat climate change and deforestation.

Beyond tree planting, MECOSI engages in other impactful charity programs, including environmental education, clean-up drives, and
support for climate-smart agriculture among vulnerable communities. We also partner with schools to establish eco-clubs, promoting sustainability from a young age.
Through these initiatives, MECOSI fosters a greener, more resilient future.
